Attunements for Shadow Work
Shadow work isn’t just about digging up buried emotions, but about recognizing how those hidden parts were formed in the first place. Often, they’re remnants of old survival strategies: traits or feelings you learned to suppress because they didn’t fit your environment, family expectations, or societal norms. For example, creativity might have been stifled because it seemed impractical, or anger might have been buried to keep the peace. The real shift happens when you realize these disowned parts are frozen potential. By reclaiming them you’re expanding your willi to engage with life. Anger, when acknowledged, can fuel boundaries. Fear, when understood, can sharpen intuition. This work also changes how you relate to others. When you stop projecting your shadow onto people (e.g., judging someone for being "too emotional" while ignoring your own sensitivity), relationships become clearer and less charged.
